Digital vector illustration is one of our specialties at HE Creative. We’ve been working with global drinks brand Mast-Jägermeister SE for the past few years, across their various imprints and most closely with their Music sector. It’s been a real pleasure to work with them on such a range of illustration, retouching and photo manipulation projects. At HE Creative we love to establish and nurture relationships with clients; learning about their needs and interests, and consistently producing work to provide them with solutions to these.
This particular project that we were commissioned for by Jägermeister was an illustration for their corporate Music offices. The label on Jägermeister bottles and the essence of their branding features a glowing Christian cross seen between the antlers of a stag. This image is a reference to the two Christian patron saints of hunters, Saint Hubertus, and Saint Eustace, both of whom converted to Christianity after experiencing a vision in which they saw a Christian cross between the antlers of a stag. We were commissioned to design and illustrate our interpretation of the iconic stag, with a “metal” feel to the artwork, thus incorporating both their iconography and the musical element of the company.
Each project we’ve worked on with Jägermeister has determined we design and illustrate in a different style; all fun and friendly but with a different approach to each. We most recently mocked up a photographic image for their proposal for their Ice Cold Gig 2017, which was approved and eventually took place in November 2017; a live gig performed on a space net suspended 6,500 feet above the ground and only accessible by helicopter. We’ve taken great pleasure in every project we’ve worked with Jägermeister on, and look forward to many more together.
